United in the Community

Development Centre – U7 to U11
United in the Community is the official player pathway for Hereford FC for players 12+, with the Development Centre operating one step below this in the pyramid.

Our Philosophy
The aim of the Development Centre is to provide a professional environment for all players in the following age groups; U7, U8, U9, U10 and U11. Our philosophy is to produce technically competent players and to give them the best possible chance of filtering through to our Academy system at U12 level and representing Hereford FC in the Junior Premier League.

Identifying Talented Players
Talented players are often recruited through United in the Community’s programmes, such as the Schools Programme and Soccer Schools. The Centre is designed to cater for players who want to continue their development and reach their potential.

Development Centre Information
Coaches deliver session topics from our syllabus, which is designed to allow them to monitor and assess players throughout the season. The topics covered in training have been chosen to develop all aspects of football and regular fixtures are put in place for players to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding.
