UNITED IN THE COMMUNITY AT 15 - On 12 December 2008 United In The Community was incorporated as a Charity by the then Hereford United FC owner and manager Graham Turner.

The Charitable Aims being for the benefit of the public generally and, in particular, the inhabitants of Herefordshire and its surrounding areas:

and

Whilst things have changed around us we have still held onto these aims, and continue to provide facilities for sports teams of all ages and abilities as well as local community and support groups. We have a few plans in the pipeline for the future that we hope to be able to bring you news of next year so keep a look out. But here’s to another 15 years and more!

United In The Community is a charitable organisation run by volunteers providing invaluable facilities, for the local community and beyond. to utilise for either sports or community events.

We are purely a non-profit organisation that reinvests any income into maintaining and upgrading our Victoria Park home in Hereford for the benefit of the community as a whole.

Our pitches, equipment and great facilities are available for hire by sports clubs, education establishments, community groups, businesses and individuals, and we offer a range of options.

Facilities

Our facilities at Victoria Park, Field Grove View, Holmer, Hereford consist of a clubhouse with a room for 20 seated people, a fully fitted kitchen, two changing rooms, a full size 11 v 11 pitch and a junior 9 v 9 pitch, all within a large enclosed and gated arena. There is parking for approximately 30 vehicles and the clubhouse is wheelchair friendly. It has a fully accessible toilet as well as spectator toilets to the rear. In addition we have options to rent gazebos, an inflatable speed cage and an inflatable toddler pitch.

How to Support Us

To keep these facilities maintained, and to progress any upgrading, we rely on the support of volunteers, who help open and close, keep the facility clean and tidy, carry out small repairs and maintenance jobs. If you think you can help us then please get in touch.

We also rely on sponsorship to support us in keeping the facility as a working and safe environment for the community. We have various sponsorship options including ground sponsorship, pitch side advertising boards and event sponsorship, to name a few. Please contact us if you want to talk about how you can support us.

Latest News

Whilst we maintain the facility to help support sports clubs and community groups we also do look to run a few events over the year, so keep a look out on here and our social media for news of past and forthcoming events run by UITC or by our partners.
